What is the Citrix Virtual Lab Environment?

The Virtual Lab is an online environment that allows MSU Denver students to use specific software packages for free in an online environment. This allows students to access software that is not available for installation, such as MiniTab, SPSS, and Adobe Acrobat.

Who can use the Citrix Virtual Lab Environment?

The Virtual Lab is only available to current MSU Denver students. However, faculty and staff may install specific software packages on their University-provided computer using Software Center (Windows) or Self Service (Mac). Please see the Software Center/Self Service article for more information on installing software on a managed computer.

How do I request access to the Citrix Virtual Lab Environment?

The Virtual Lab is already available to all students. When working off campus, you will need to be connected to GlobalProtect in order to access the Virtual Lab. To learn more about GlobalProtect, and to request access to it, please visit this page: What is GlobalProtect?
