Overview
The Edge web browser routinely saves components of websites to your local machine. This is intended to speed up web browsing by preventing websites from reloading common resources (like banners and icons) every time a page is loaded, but sometimes this can cause a website to function incorrectly because it's storing outdated content. The reset process described in this article can resolve these issues by removing those "cached" items, prompting your browser to download the most recent content from websites.
Before you begin...
Save your work and close all applications, as this process will require you to restart your computer.

Further steps for browser troubleshooting
If after a full browser reset you are still experiencing issues there are a few more areas of the browser to check.
First ensure the browser is not logged into directly. You can do this by checking the top left corner of the browser and clicking on the circle with either initials or a photo. If you are logged in, click the settings "cog" from the menu shown after clicking the circle.
From here we will navigate to a Profiles page in Settings. You will then click "Sign out" to sign the profile out of the browser.
After signing out of the profile, you can take a look at the extensions in the browser. Do this by clicking the three dots in the top right corner and clicking "Extensions". Then on the pop-up window click "Manage Extensions".
Here you can manage any extensions in the browser. If there are any extensions not being used you can remove it by clicking "Remove" or disable them by toggling it off on the right.
There are some security based extensions that can be installed into browsers that may block certain domains used on MSU Denver's website.
Check the specific instructions for those extensions and either allow or ensure none of the following are blocked: msudenver.edu, www.msudenver.edu, ssb.msudenver.edu, banner.msudenver.edu, banner2.msudenver.edu.
Removing these types of extensions can also be a way to troubleshoot if they are interfering with your browser.
