Request for Service - Strategy and Marcom

What is it?

 The Request Service button to will take you to the Strategy, Marketing and Communications' intake form and that team will work with you directly upon submission, not ITS. 

University departments are supported by in the following ways by the Strategy, Marketing and Communications team:

Brand Central

  • Metropolitan State University Denver’s Brand Central is a one stop resource to help all members of the MSU Denver community present a cohesive and consistent brand across all marketing and communications efforts.  Here you’ll find a range of tools, templates and resources to help us all leverage the power of a unified brand message, look and feel in all print, web, digital, written and oral communications.


  • We can help you produce communication materials, with priority for projects that have large audiences and are central to the University’s strategy. You can use photos from our library and download logos. We can connect you with one of our preferred freelance vendors for projects we cannot manage in-house.



  • We can help you share your story internally and externally. We produce the Early Bird daily e-newsletter for staff and faculty, The ‘Runner weekly e-newsletter for students, the Roadrunner Rundown video for internal and external audiences, and RED, our online newsroom featuring stories of importance and interest to Denver and beyond. Please coordinate with us when working with the media.



  • We design and maintain key entry points to the University website, including department home pages. We help schools, colleges and departments design their sites beyond the home pages so that they meet the particular needs of their audiences. We provide consultation, templates and training to ensure branded, attractive sites.



  • We can consult with you on your marketing and advertising plans. We can advise you on strategy and offer you design ideas. All advertising in mass media must be approved by our department before University funds will be released.
Who can request this?

Any employee may request service.


The request form will ask you what service-are are your request regards and what project you have that requires Marcom's partnership/assistance. 

What to expect

Strategy, Marketing and Communications team will receive your request and reach back to you via email or phone.
