Who is licensed to use Adobe Creative Cloud?

Staff

All full-time and part-time staff (but not student employees) are granted a license to use the full suite of Adobe Creative Cloud products. Once a person has been designated with the "worker" status by HR in Workday, they will be granted a license within 48 hours. Staff are able to use and install Adobe products on a maximum of 2 devices. This limit includes personal and university-owned devices but does not include university-owned devices designated as "shared use" such as a computer lab.

Faculty

All designations of faculty members (full time, part time, associate, adjunct etc.) are granted a license to use the full suite of Adobe Creative Cloud products. Once a person has been designated with the "worker" status by HR in Workday, they will be granted a license within 48 hours. Faculty are able to use and install Adobe products on a maximum of 2 devices. This limit includes personal and university-owned devices but does not include university-owned devices designated as "shared use" such as a computer lab.

Students

All students and student employees

are automatically granted a license for Adobe Spark. This is a basic level access that grants the user access to apps like Premiere Rush, Fresco, Bridge, Photoshop Express, Aero, and Character Animator. This does not include applications like Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.

University-owned device with the shared device licensing installed

The aforementioned Adobe Spark license allows students to use the full suite of Adobe products (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat etc.) on a university-owned device that has been configured properly for shared-use. In other words, students with this default level of licensing, can use the full suite of Adobe products on MSU Denver devices where those apps have been installed but CANNOT use them on personally owned devices except those basic apps previously mentioned with Adobe Spark. Good examples of this are computer labs or departmental shared devices like at a front desk.

Personally-owned devices

Students CAN request access to a license to use the full suite of Adobe products. We have limited licenses available for this and students can request access below. Be aware, that access to the full suite will be terminated after the student is no longer registered for classes.
