Minimum password security requirements

Your password must contain

• ten or more characters
• upper and lower case letters
• a number or symbol (ex. !@#$%^)

Your password must not 

• be any of your last ten passwords
• be similar to your first name, last name, or NetID (if any three characters appear in the same order, it will be rejected)

Your password will expire

• every 90 days for Staff
• every 180 days for Faculty

You will receive email notifications when the expiration time is approaching that recommend you change your password soon.
