What is Degree Works?

The Degree Progress Report by Degree Works is an advising tool used by students in conjunction with their advisor throughout the student's academic career at MSU Denver. By looking at the requirements for a program of study as well as the coursework completed, the system helps to create an easy-to-read degree audit.

Who can use Degree Works?

Students, and Faculty or Staff advisors.

How do I request access to Degree Works?

Faculty and Staff

All faculty and staff need to go through training to gain access to the Degree Progress Report using DegreeWorks tool.  If anyone in the department still needs training, contact your department trainer.  If you do not know your department trainer you can contact Ed Zarate or Raenea Gomez in the Office of the Registrar. 

Students

Students need not request access to Degree Works. Their account is automatically activated upon admission to the university.

How do I access Degree Works?

The Degree Progress Report tool can be accessed from the Student Hub or the Faculty and Staff Hub using your NetID and password.
