Overview
Canvas allows global messages to be set at the top of the front page for all users. This feature can be used to provide students, faculty, and staff updates related to academic topics. As the focus in Canvas must remain on learning, announcements in Canvas will be very limited.
Before you begin...
Review the guidelines for Canvas Global announcements on the Canvas Global Announcement website.
Instructions
Any announcement requests should be submitted to the Canvas Global announcements committee for review by completing the Global Announcement request form.
Result
Once you submit your request to the Global Announcements committee, it will be reviewed and you will be contacted by that group if they have any questions regarding your request. If you have any questions regarding this process, please contact the Office of Online Learning.
