How to fix Adobe sign-in errors

Description of Error

When the user opens a .pdf file with Adobe Acrobat DC, an error message reads “Your browser or operating system is no longer supported. You may need to install the latest updates to your operating system.” The user is then locked from using any features of Adobe Acrobat DC.

Work-around(s)

Your computer does not require an update; please follow the steps below to restore access to Adobe Acrobat:

1.) Use the search function of the start menu to open the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app.

2.) Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner, then sign out.

3.) Sign back in using your single sign on (SSO)

4.) Launch Acrobat DC from the Creative Cloud

Result

You should now be able to view and edit .pdf files with Acrobat.
