Overview
Videos that are in Yuja are automatically archived after 4 years of no plays on that video.
You can restore the videos when they are put into the archive and they will be reinstated approximately 24 hours after the restoration process.
More detailed instructions provided by Yuja on restoring Archived media can be found at the following link. https://support.yuja.com/hc/en-us/articles/17030990130839-Restoring-Media-Cold-Archived-to-Himalayas#01H8PRJK584T35AKJWHE5NE0B7
Before you begin...
If these are videos that you uploaded to Yuja then you can follow the provided instructions to restore them.
If you are not the original owner of the videos then you may need to reach out to the owner of the video to ask them to restore the content from their account.
If you are unsure who the owner is you can create a general service ticket with ITS and inquire to whether or not they can restore the video for you. You will need to provide ITS with the video name and, if possible, the Canvas Course name, CRN number and module location that the video was placed in.

Please note that the restoration of the archived video will take a little while to reappear as an un-archived video. This usually takes about 24 hours.
After videos are restored they can be accessed and embedded into Canvas courses as usual.
