Overview
Using the Teams app can lead to receiving a variety of notifications regarding chats, meetings, and calls. Having the Teams app on your mobile phone allows you to answer work concerns anytime, anywhere. This means that Teams is always on, even when you're at home. For mobile devices, the Teams "Quiet Hours" feature allows you to specify only the hours and days you want to be notified of new messages and calls.
How to set up quiet hours for mobile
- Tap the profile avatar in the top-left corner.
- Tap Notifications.
- Locate the Block notifications menu.
- Tap Block during quiet hours.
- Set your specific date and time preferences for when you don't wish to receive notifications.
Example: If you would like to only be notified from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, you would:
- Select Quiet hours.
- Set Start at 5:00 p.m.
- Set End at 8:00 a.m.
