Overview
Self Service is a feature included on all MSU Denver Apple devices that allow users to install, update, and uninstall pre-approved applications without requiring ITS support or intervention. This article will walk you through installing software through this tool.
Before you begin...
Some software may require access to the MSU Denver GlobalProtect service for licensing. For more information on GlobalProtect, please see What is GlobalProtect? For help connecting the GlobalProtect client, please see How do I connect to GlobalProtect via the client?
Instructions

Open Spotlight.

Search for "Self Service" and open the app with the MSU Denver logo.
Note: If you do not have the app installed on your MSU Denver computer, please contact the ITS Service Desk.

Note: The software listed in your Self Service may not match the above software list.

In Self Service, use the search bar to look for your desired app (you can also scroll through the list to locate it).

Once you've found the app you're looking for, click the Install button.

Result
You have successfully started the installation of your desired software. Note that different apps will have different installation times, and some may require you restart your computer. You can continue to use your computer while the installation runs.
