How do I use the in-room computer in a conference room?

Overview

Many MSU Denver conference rooms and other meeting spaces have in-room computers that can be used to present via the room's video equipment. Follow these steps to connect the in-room PC to the TV.

Before you begin...

  • Verify you are in a conference room with a computer. Check the Conference Room Categories & Information article for a list of rooms with in-room computers.
  • Ensure the in-room computer is turned on.
  • Locate the room's TV remote.

Instructions

  1. Use the TV remote to turn on the TV.
  2. Press HOME on the TV remote.
  3. In the next menu, select SOURCE.
  4. Select PC.

Result

There may be a brief delay, but you should see the MSU Denver login screen come up on the TV. Make sure the wireless keyboard and mouse are turned on so you can log in and interact with the in-room PC.
