Access Your MSU Denver Phone Remotely

Overview

This article will walk through how to access your MSU Denver work phone remotely using Skype for Business on both PC and Mac.

Note: When accessing your MSU Denver Phone through Skype for Business you can use a headset or the microphone and speakers on your computer to capture the audio.

How to Access Phone on Windows PC:

1. Open the Start Menu

2. Scroll through the list of Application till you find Skype for Business  and select it

3. When the program is opened, fill in using your MSU Denver email and password.

4. Click Sign In.

5. You should now be signed into your MSU Denver Phone.

How to Access Phone on Mac:

Install Skype For Business

If you do not have it already, you will need to download Skype for Business on your Mac. To install skype for business, use the following steps.

1. Open the Finder
2. Select Applications on the left
3. Locate and open Self Service
4. In the search bar type in “Skype”
5. Click where it says Install below Skype for Business

Access Phone using Skype for Business

Once you have installed the application, you can now log in to access your MSU Denver phone number by using the following steps:

1. Open the Finder

2. Select Applications on the left

3. Locate Skype for Business and select it

4. Fill in your MSU Denver email and password

5. Select  Sign In

6. You should now be signed into your MSU Denver Phone.
