How do I request access to Audacity?

Audacity is available to all users on their MSU Denver issued PC laptops through Software Center. For MSU Denver issued Mac computers, Audacity will appear in Self Service and can be installed from there. If you require Audacity to be installed in a department lab, please submit a Software Request for University Devices so that we can schedule a deployment.

Audacity is also available to install on personal devices at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.

How do I access Audacity?

After you've installed Audacity from either Software Center or Self-Service, you will be able to launch the application from your Start menu or Applications folder.

If you experience trouble installing the application, you receive license errors, or you feel it is not running correctly, please submit a Software Issues & Errors request.
