How do I access the new version of Microsoft Stream, Stream (On SharePoint)?

Overview

Microsoft is preparing to retire Stream (Classic) in favour of a new version, Stream (On SharePoint). As a part of this process, users will not be able to upload any videos to Stream (Classic) beginning May 20th, 2023. Anyone attempting to use Stream will be directed to use Stream (On SharePoint), but Stream (Classic) will still be available through Office 365 until May 29th, 2023.

All published MSU Denver content in Stream will be migrated to the new version on May 29th, with no action required from MSU Denver users. Videos and drafts that have not yet been published will not be considered for migration, so anyone with unpublished content who wants it moved to Stream (On SharePoint) should publish it before the migration date. Content from Stream (Classic) will be retained for 180 days after the migration.

Please note that the provided dates may be subject to change.

This article will detail how to understand and navigate to the new look Stream (On SharePoint) to prepare you for use before Stream (Classic) is fully retired.
