Microsoft Teams - General Support

What is Microsoft Teams (now also known as New Teams)?

Microsoft Teams is the hub for team collaboration in Microsoft 365 that integrates the people, content, and tools your team needs to be more engaged. Its functions include video conferencing, individual and group chat, telephony, and integration with other Microsoft 365 apps to provide calendar management, file storage and sharing, and more.

Who can use Microsoft Teams?

Microsoft Teams is available to all active MSU Denver students, faculty, and staff.

How do I access Microsoft Teams?

If the Microsoft Teams app is installed on your computer, you can open it like any application. Microsoft Teams is installed on all MSU Denver computers.

There is also a web version of Microsoft Teams, though it does not have as many features as the app version. It can be accessed by logging in to your Microsoft 365 account through email.msudenver.edu, then selecting Teams from the upper-left navigation menu.
