Report a hardware issue with an MSU Denver device

What is it?

Use this service to report a physical hardware issue with an MSU Denver device or peripheral/accessory.  For urgent support, please call us at 303-352-7548 during M-F business hours.

Common examples of hardware issues:
 - Battery/power issues with computers
 - Physical damage
 - Strange noises or performance issues
 - Boot issues
 - Broken monitors, power adapters, etc. 

Who can request this?

Employees or students assigned or loaned an MSU Denver device may use this service. 


Please describe the error with as much detail as possible and have the Asset Tag (MSXXXXX) ready to report for an MSU Denver computer or iPad.  You may attach screenshots or photos to this request. 

What to expect

An ITS technician will reach out during business hours to troubleshoot or make a plan for repair.  If it's determined that in-person support is needed, we work with you to schedule an appointment.  Unscheduled walk-in support is currently unavailable due to COVID-19 health and safety procedures - please call us if you have any questions.
