Canvas NEW Third Party Software Integration request

What is it?

For faculty and/or Staff to request a NEW third party application integration with Canvas.

Who can request this?

Faculty and Staff


- Institutionally Licensed third-party learning tool that you would like to integrate with
- Third-Party tool should not overlap with features provided by the universities Learning Management System (Canvas)
- supports Canvas LTI Integration by the third-party company providing that service
- Third-Party tool is WCAG 2.1 AA Compliant (ADA compliance)

What to expect

Once you complete the request form for integration, the request is forwarded to the ITS shared governance committee for approval.  Note this process has many review components for security, privacy, accessibility (ADA), licensing (including free products) and can take a few weeks for the committee to review.  It is recommended that requests be submitted one semester in advance to allow for ample time for the review/approval and implementation.
