Blackboard Archive File Request

Tags Blackboard
What is it?

Blackboard Learn end-of-semester course archives were created for previous semesters and can be requested by the primary instructor of record or department chair now that the Blackboard Learn system has been decommissioned by the University.

Who can request this?

The Primary Instructor of record (as identified by Banner) or the Department chair of the course can make a request to obtain a Blackboard Learn course archive.

Requirements

1.  Faculty can obtain previous semester course information (semester and CRN) from your self-service banner account ( Faculty/Staff Hub --> Self-Service Banner --> Faculty & Advisor Services --> Faculty Detail Schedule) or work with their departments Class Schedule Coordinator to obtain that information.

2.  Requestor must be either the primary instructor of record in Banner (course content owner) or Department Chair for that course to approve the distribution of the course content to others.

3.  Click on the Request form and complete the required information.

What to expect

The request will be reviewed and the Blackboard Learn course archive will be shared via Microsoft One-drive to the requestor to download and use as needed (either import into a Canvas sandbox shell they have or they can upload to their one drive account for long term storage).
