Overview
Not to be confused with Self Service Banner, Jamf Self Service+ is a feature included on all MSU Denver-managed Apple devices that allow users to install, update, and uninstall pre-approved applications without requiring ITS support or intervention. This article will walk you through installing software through this tool.
How to Access Self Service+

Open Spotlight Search.

Note: If you do not have the app installed on your MSU Denver computer, please contact the ITS Service Desk.

Search the term Self Service+ and open the Self Service+.app.

How to Install a Software Application
- In Self Service+ you will see some information about your user account, you password's sync status with Entra ID, and some featured content.


- Search for the name of the app you want to install in the search field (you can also scroll through the Catalog to locate it).
- Once you've found the app you're looking for, click the Install button.

- Once the installation completes, the spinning wheel will be replaced by 'Open' or 'Reinstall'.

Result
