My First Login

Congratulations and Welcome to MSU Denver!

Please take a minute to set up your MSU Denver NetID Account and Password

Your MSU Denver NetID provides access to many of the tools you will use during your time at MSU Denver. Most of these accounts are single sign-on, and setting up your password now will simplify getting logged in to register for classes, check your email, and manage your student/staff account.

Before you begin...

Ensure your MSU Denver NetID account is ready to be used before following these instructions.

  • Student accounts are created within 24 hours of being accepted by the University.
  • Employee accounts are created within 24 hours of the position's start date.
  • Only active students or employees can use their NetID account to log in to MSU Denver technology systems. For more details, please see NetID General Information.

You will also need access to the email address and phone number you used to register with/apply to the University. If you no longer have access to any of these accounts or devices, please contact the ITS Service Desk for login support.
