What is it?

Information Technology Services (ITS) provides support for networked Multi-Function Printers (MFP) leased from Ricoh or Xerox. Supplies and service for these large copier/printers are handled by the vendor. For these requests, we recommend calling the contact number on the front of the printer.

ITS provides limited, best-effort connectivity support for purchased desktop or departmental laser printers. Supplies and hardware service for these should be handled by the department itself.

Who can request this?

Faculty and Staff can report printing issues through this form. Please note that for best service, please provide the printer name, room, and network jack information where the printer is plugged into the wall. Students having issues printing in labs are encouraged to speak to lab staff on-site or contact the service desk.


Support for copiers/MFPs requires a lease from Ricoh or Xerox, the printer must be connected to the wired network, and the print jobs managed by the university print server. Printing to these copiers/MFPs requires a hardwire connection and cannot be done over wireless. Computers must have the proper printer installed automatically through departmental membership or manually by a member of IT.

What to expect

Upon submitting a request, ITS will reach out to troubleshoot where in the process printing is failing. Please make sure the above requirements are met.
