Overview of License Request
Solidworks 2024 for students is a drafting and engineering software for student use on their personal devices. Use this request form to receive a license for Solidworks SEK and installation information.
The 2024 license key is expires 12/2024 and only works for the Solidworks version 2024.
Please request the license again after that date if you are still an active student and need the license renewed.
Who can request this?
Students enrolled in engineering or industrial design courses may request this license.

Click the red Request Solidworks License button on this page to submit a request form to receive a license for personal use. Please note: if you have installed the software previously, you must uninstall it before installing and licensing the new copy.
What to expect
Once your request is placed, please allow one business day to receive your license key via email in reply to your request.
Once you have the license key:
- Download the installation guide attached on this webpage (to the right) or here: https://catt-llc.com/solidworks/solidworks-installation-guide/ and follow the instructions
- Complete the Community Download Form to start the download process at: www.SOLIDWORKS.com/SEK
