How do I download Mathematica on my personal computer?

Overview

Mathematica is a computational software program that has traditionally been used in the study of mathematics, sciences, and engineering, but also is suitable for use in other fields of study such as economics, education, social sciences, finance, statistics and even music.

MSU Denver offers faculty and students access to three versions of Wolfram's software at no cost under MSU Denver's site license: Mathematica Desktop, Mathematica Online, and Wolfram|Alpha Pro.

Before you begin...

You will need to create a Wolfram account, if you do not already have one. Go to user.wolfram.com and select the option to create an account, then fill out the form using your MSU Denver email address. You will need to click a link Wolfram sends you in email to complete your account creation.

Instructions

You will need to fill out the appropriate form for your desired product and role at the University. These are provided below:

Result

Wolfram should provide you software installers for your desired product once they have processed your request. You can also check wolfram.com/siteinfo to see what other products are available through your institutional account.
