Identity and access management is a service provisioned via SaaS partner Sailpoint using its product IdentityNow.
At the end of Phase 1, this service assigns birthright access and permissions to certain applications.
Birthright means that by the nature of belonging to an organization or being in a role, predefined access and permissions are granted.
The system also automate the provisioning of access and permissions to many applications via APIs or Web Service Calls.
In its final implementation (after Phase 3 or 4) this service will allow users and supervisors the ability to request access and permissions.

Primary instructors and chairs can request a Archive File for courses taught in Blackboard as far back as Spring, 2018.
